Julia Seibert | MA (Dist.)
Drawing on a career defined by the concert stage, Julia specializes in curating sophisticated soundscapes for London’s most refined spaces. Her approach, often described as "a string quartet in miniature," reimagines the pillars of the classical canon through the intimate resonance of the guitar.
Julia’s global perspective was shaped by a childhood across Istanbul, the United States, and Germany, before she settled in London to complete her Master’s degree with Distinction at Trinity Laban (2024). A recipient of the Medal for Highest Achievement in her department, her technical mastery has been recognized with the Montagu Cleeve Prize and the Beatty Competition Prize for Interpretation.
Her repertoire extends beyond the guitar’s traditional boundaries, presenting orchestral and piano works with a "beautiful, warm sound and refined technique... sincerely letting this wonderful music speak for itself." This commitment to the instrument's evolution led to the 2025 world premiere of Concerto Arabesco, a work dedicated to Julia by composer Andrés Miranda.
